Dan Robbins has played violin at two historic lodges and at a resort. For eight seasons he has played 5 days per week at the historic lodge, The Many Glacier Hotel in Glacier National Park, featured on PBS' documentary series 'Great Lodges of the National Parks,' by Ken Burns. He also played regularly at Ducey's on the Lake, a fine dining restaurant at The Pines Resort, south of Yosemite National Park in central California. He often lives just beside where he plays, in some of the most beautiful parts of the country.

A graduate of Bowdoin College, Dan also studied at Lacoste School of the Arts in France, Kinhaven Music School in Weston, Vermont and Meadowmount School of Music in Westport, New York.
